What is Life & Career Coaching?
Life & career coaching is all about you and your life. It’s about discovering your passion, setting goals, identifying and removing obstacles, achieving personal growth, gaining focus and control, eliminating stress and creating your ideal future – both personally and professionally.

Is Life Coaching “Therapy”?
No. Coaching and therapy are different approaches to helping individuals achieve their potential. In therapy the focus is usually on uncovering unresolved issues and traumas from your past and resolving the painful feelings associated with these issues. This can be a very lengthy process. In contrast, life coaching focuses on the here and now, and helps you gain the skills and knowledge you need to create a happy, fulfilling and successful career and personal life. Life coaching aims to get you moving forward as quickly as possible.

How Does Life Coaching Work?
For the first 3 months we’ll meet – either in person or telephonically – for weekly 1-hour sessions. My approach is to work “from the inside out,” focusing on who you are (your needs, values, dreams, goals and purpose) vs. what you are (your role as a professional, parent, spouse and friend). After just a few sessions you’ll begin to gain clarity and the ability to move forward with confidence and renewed vision. After 3 months we will assess your progress and consider meeting less frequently. Eventually we will only meet when you have a particular issue you want to discuss.
